MANSFIELD — Trinity United Methodist Church, 1592 Grace St., Mansfield, will hold a Madison Community Easter drive-thru Saturday, March 27, beginning at 1 p.m. rain or shine.
All children in a car, up through 6th grade, will receive an Easter basket (untouched for more than a week). One person, wearing gloves and mask, will put your basket(s) on a designated table and then move away. You will drive forward and pick up the basket(s).
The baskets will contain items for outdoor activities, books at appropriate reading levels for each age group, things to build, school supplies, candy, games to play with family and crafts to make.
Church members in the front yard will be praying for each family as they drive through and will come to your car if waved over.
Trinity United Methodist Church, 1592 Grace St., Mansfield, has scheduled Holy Week services:
*Palm Sunday, March 28, regular service at 9:30 a.m.
*Maundy/Holy Thursday, April 1, 7 p.m.
*Easter Sunday, April 4, at 9:30 a.m.
There will be no sunrise service as was originally planned.
