SHELBY — The Shelby FFA found a way to continue its long tradition of paying forward with a community breakfast.
For the last 18 years, students at Shelby High School who are members of the FFA have served the Shelby community a breakfast.
This year, because of COVID-19 they served the public with a drive-thru. The community members could drive up, students took their order, they went inside and brought the food in containers to the visitors.
This event has become a tradition at Shelby High School. The students showed a lot of enthusiasm while serving.
Cory Myers, a 2020 SHS graduate, even came home from OSU Wooster Ag. to assist.
The students also took orders by phone and delivered several meals to area farmers.
