LOUDONVILLE — The Rotary Club of Loudonville will be joining fellow Rotarians in Ashland for a special joint virtual meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 16 featuring Bob DiBiasio, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs, The Cleveland Indians.
He will provide an inside look into major league baseball, share a perspective on the upcoming season and the proposed change in the team’s name.
DiBiasio spoke to the Rotary Club of Ashland last year and is known as a great storyteller with more than 40 years of experience working in the Indians’ front office. He’s in his 42nd year in major league baseball.
He started with the Indians in 1979 as its assistant public relations director, was named public relations director in 1980 and promoted to vice president in 1988. He is an Ohio Wesleyan University graduate as is Ashland Rotary president Ted Daniels.
