MANSFIELD – Last year, there were two serious injury crashes and three arrests involving impaired driving from 6 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday after the Super Bowl in Richland County.
The Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Richland County Sheriff’s Office are partnering to combat impaired driving during and after the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 7.
This collaborative effort is to help reduce fatal and injury crashes due to impaired driving.
If you plan to celebrate the Super Bowl, please plan accordingly and designate a sober driver. Failing to have a designated driver could result in being pulled over and arrested, or worse yet, cause a fatal or injury crash.
For the safety of all on our roadways, the public is encouraged to dial 911 or #677 to report dangerous or impaired drivers.
