PLYMOUTH — A deteriorating building in Plymouth has led to the closure of one of the village’s major thoroughfares.
A secction of State Route 603 has been closed in downtown Plymouth as the deteriorating brick structure is scheduled for demoltion. The closure took place on July 31.
The roadway will remain closed until further notice for cleanup and demolition of the building. No date was revealed for when the route will reopen, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The detour route for northbound motorists is state Route 603 to Route 13, north on Route 13 to U.S. 224, west on U.S. 224 to Route 61, south on Route 61 to Route 603, and reverse for southbound motorists.
