MANSFIELD – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Richland County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
U.S Route 30 major rehabilitation
U.S. 30, from state Route 309 to just east of the 5th Avenue ramps, will have single lane closures for a major rehabilitation project. Traffic will always be maintained.
Begin constructing state Route 545 – working on the west side of Route 545 while maintaining traffic on the east side.
Longview Avenue is tentatively scheduled to close Monday, June 25.
Crews continue construction state Route 39 – working on the east side of Route 39 while maintaining traffic on the west side.
The 30 westbound ramp to State Route 39 northbound is closed permanently per project plans – detour route is posted
Earthwork continues at the state Route 39 northbound ramp to U.S. 30 eastbound and along Longview Avenue – traffic will be maintained in both of these areas as the contractor prepares for future temporary closures of the ramp and Longview Avenue
Estimated completion: May 2023
State Route 309 minor rehabilitation
State Route 309, from state Route 314 to Home Road, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be shifted over into 10’ lanes and will be divided by portable barrier wall in each direction. Estimated completion: September 2020
