BUCYRUS — Two people from Indianapolis were arrested Thursday afternoon in Bucyrus on gun and burglary charges, according to a Bucyrus Police report.
According to authorities, Pamela S Miller, 49 and Robert B Parsons, 49, both of Indianapolis, were arrested in the 800 block of South Sandusky Avenue. They are being held on suspicion of aggravated robbery, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and aggravated burglary charges.
A Bucyrus Police report stated that officers were called to the 100 block of West Oakwood Avenue at approximately 1:51 p.m. regarding a subject with a gun. Both individuals are being held in the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.
Thursday, June 4
8:28 a.m. Officers attempted to serve a summons in the 300 block of W Warren St.
9:11 a.m. A motorist was given a verbal warning for manner of driving in the area of Sandusky and Oakwood.
10:30 a.m. Officers assisted BFD in the 600 block of W Mansfield St.
10:40 a.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Washington Square was investigated.
1:20 p.m. A report of a possible missing adult was taken in the 1200 block of Willard St. It was found the adult was not missing.
1:49 p.m. Officers investigated a parking issue in the area of Fisher and Reid.
2:59 p.m. Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of W Mansfield St.
3:04 p.m. A report of an abandoned motorbike in Aumiller Park was unfounded.
3:16 p.m. Officers spoke with a subject in the 1600 block of Marion Rd regarding possible threats.
3:43 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 100 block of Wallace Ave.
3:44 p.m. A report of subjects blocking the alley in the 300 block of N Sandusky Ave. was investigated.
4:16 p.m. Officers made a welfare check for Community Counseling in the area of Woodbine Apts.
4:54 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 1500 block of N Sandusky Ave.
5:03 p.m. A report of subjects setting off fireworks in the Orchard Park area was investigated.
7:41 p.m. A complaint about juveniles in the area of the 800 block of E. Mansfield Street was investigated.
7:49 p.m. Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff deputy on a traffic stop in the 200 block of E. Mansfield Street.
8:10 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the area of Bucyrus Plaza.
8:19 p.m. A disturbance between roommates was investigated in the area of Waterford Glen.
9 p.m. A parking complaint was investigated in the 500 block of W. Warren Street.
9:45 p.m. A disturbance in the 800 block of S. East Street was investigated.
10:09 p.m. Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of Hopley Avenue.
10:20 p.m. A loud music complaint on East End Way was investigated.
10:23 p.m. A subject in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street reported being threatened by someone he knows.
10:29 p.m. A verbal domestic disturbance was investigated in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street.
10:44 p.m. A resident in the 400 block of Charlotte Street reported someone attempting to run her off the road with their vehicle.
10:45 p.m. A report of a log in the roadway on Marion Road was investigated. Someone had already moved it off the road before officers arrived.
11:09 p.m. A Bucyrus resident reported receiving threats from someone she knows.
11:18 p.m. A loud music complaint was investigated in the 900 block of East End Way.
Friday, June 5
12:17 a.m. Doug Surgener, 41, was arrested on a charge of Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication. He was issued a summons to appear in court and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.
12:30 a.m. A motorist in the 700 block of Beverly Drive reported her vehicle vandalized. Officers did not see any damage to the vehicle.
