BUCYRUS — A woman claimed to be stab and another individual claimed to have COVID-19 after Bucyrus Police responded to a domestic situation early Tuesday morning.

According to a Bucyrus Police report, officers responded to a domestic situation at approximately 12:47 a.m. in the 900 block of Reid Street. Reportedly, a subject was stabbed and the suspect had left on foot. The female victim was found hiding in the residence and transported by ambulance for care.

Police said the subject was also reported to be in a blue Dodge Neon. The suspect was located by Crawford County Sheriff’s Office claiming he was positive for COVID-19 and quarantined.

The subject was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held pending court appearance.

9:47 a.m. Officers retrieved a $20 counterfeit bill at Walmart for investigation.

1:43 p.m. A domestic dispute in the 700 block of Wilbur St. was reported.

2:23 p.m. A domestic dispute in the 600 block of E. Warren St. was reported. No assaults or threats were reported and one half left with the other’s PlayStation headset.

4:36 p.m. A hit-skip accident was reported in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. One of the drivers pulled over and the other kept travelling east.

4:38 p.m. A domestic dispute in the 600 block of E. Warren St was reported. One of the parties gathered belongings and went to another location.

5:33 p.m. A suspicious person complaint was investigated in the 500 block of N. Sandusky Ave. A patron at a store was suspected of fraud, having several different identifications and travelling from out of state. The suspect left prior to officer arrival and direction was unknown.

8:55 p.m. A suspicious person complaint was investigated in the 100 block of E. Rensselaer St. It was someone who lived in the area listening to music in their car.

9:56 p.m. Officers spoke with a subject about an animal complaint in the 400 block of E. Charles St. Dogs were reportedly barking excessively. They were quiet for the time being.

11:07 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 1800 block of E Mansfield St. It was a false alarm.

Tuesday, April 14

2:39 a.m. Officers checked the Sherman St and Cleland Ave area after a 911 hang-up call. No incident was located.

6:24 a.m. A false alarm in the 1100 block of Isaac Beal Rd. was investigated.
