Last week, north central Ohio experienced snow, hail, rain and bright sun — all in the same day.
On Monday, here comes the big wind. It’s truly April in Ohio.
The National Weather Service office in Cleveland has issued a high wind watch Monday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The watch area covers all of north central Ohio, including Richland, Ashland, Knox and Crawford counties.
Winds from the southwest at 20 to 30 mph are expected Monday with gusts up to 60 mph during the period.
Damaging wind gusts that strong could blow down trees and power lines, making widespread power outages possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
On Easter evening tonight, the NWS calls for 90 percent chance of showers with thunderstorms well after midnight. The low will be around 52 and the area will get between a half and inch to three-quarters of an inch of rain.
