CRESTLINE — Crestline Farmers Market have been monitoring the government guidelines concerning opening the Farmers Market in May.

According to the March 31 update, farmers markets have been designated as an essential business. We will be running the market starting Tuesday, May 5 with modified conditions.

We are asking customers to continue with accepted social distancing measures. Six feet apart, masks if you feel the need, gloves if you choose. If you use your own shopping bags – we ask that you place the items purchased in the bags.

All vendors will be asked to prepackage their merchandise. Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have a temperature of 100.4 degrees.

The market will be spreading the space between vendors. There will NOT be any concessions for at least the month of May. Depending on future health department updates, we hope to have our food concessions back in June. All home produced items MUST be prepackaged and handed directly to the customer.

Crafters are not essential for the month of May. Please wait until we determine when to participate. We are sorry for this delay.

There will be hand sanitizer available at the pavilion for customer use. We will be posting that it is recommended to keep at least a 6 feet distance from each other while shopping or waiting in line.

If you want to see the rest of the government guidelines go to: COVID-19 and YOUR Farmers Markets to see the entire document. It is the March 31, 2020 update.

Those wishing to become a vendor must call Market Director Becky McKean (419-545-1090) to participate.

We hope to see you May 5, time is still 3 to 6 pm. I know Witter’s and Green Patch Growers will have vegetable plants, flowers, and planters available at the first market.
