ONTARIO — The public is invited to a free concert of hammered dulcimer musicĀ at Ontario United Methodist Church 3540 Park Ave. W. Ontario on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 1:30 p.m.
This event features the 2010 National Champion Hammered Dulcimer player, Ted Yoder. He comes to Ontario from Goshen, Indiana along with Rhythmwood Drive (Doug and Sarah Haag) from Indianapolis. There will be hammered dulcimer, marimba, and percussion.
While the concert is free to the public, donations are appreciated. Yoderās repertoire includes a wide variety of music from many genres. Expect to hear such favorites as Hotel California, Eleanor Rigby, and Africa, modern tunes such as Everybody Wants to Rule the World, traditional church hymns, and tunes that Ted has written himself.
