North central Ohio’s first snow of 2020 leans toward slush

MANSFIELD — The first significant snow fall of the year began on Friday night and quickly turned to a sloppy mush as icy precipitation turned to rain around 8:30 a.m. in Mansfield.

According to the National Weather Service, the high for the day is 40 degrees. The low is 12 degrees. The NWS said there is a chance of more snow and rain this weekend.
