MANSFIELD — A 29-year-old Mansfield man was shot after an argument Sunday evening at the victim’s home on Greenlawn Avenue, according to Mansfield police.
“To my understanding, a gentleman showed up at the victim’s residence,” said police Lt. Rob Skropits. “An argument broke out and at the end of the argument, the victim was shot.”
Calvin D. Harris Jr. was taken to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital by the Mansfield Fire Department. The alleged shooter remains at large, according to police.
Skropits said he does not know the victim’s condition.
“Last night (Sunday), he went into surgery, we hope to find out his condition sometime today,” Skropits said.
Ten officers were dispatched to 269 Greenlawn Ave. at 6 p.m. in reference to a felonious assault. Evidence was collected and submitted to the lab, according to the report.
