Cottondale fought back from a slow start and rolled to a 26-15 win over Chipley in a Florida high school football matchup on September 21.
The Tigers showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 7-0 advantage over the Hornets as the first quarter ended.
Chipley took a 15-6 lead over Cottondale heading to the intermission locker room.
The Hornets broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 20-15 lead over the Tigers.
There was no room for doubt as the Hornets added to its advantage with a 6-0 margin in the closing period.
