MANSFIELD — Our readers consistently submit dozens of questions through Open Source, and now we need your help choosing which one to tackle next.
We’ve already answered questions like “Has Richland County, specifically Mansfield, ever considered paying people to move here?” and “What is the status on tearing down the old YMCA?” Just last week, our intrepid City Editor Carl Hunnell strapped on his boots and set out to answer the question, “Why are there two caves behind John Sherman School on 39?”
Now, we want our audience’s help to choose our next story assignment. We’ve narrowed the selection to three questions:
Whichever question receives the most votes by Monday, April 22 will be answered in the coming weeks. All of the questions were submitted through Open Source, a platform that allows our newsroom to work alongside our readers in our coverage of Richland County.
Anyone can submit a question you might want answered about your community, then our newsroom will select some to answer immediately and put others up for a public vote, where the most popular question will be answered.
Vote above by next Monday, or submit your own question below. We might choose yours to investigate next.
