BELLVILLE — Kate Peresie and other Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists will lead a series of spring wildflower walks on the Clear Fork Valley Scenic Trail. The walks will be held at alternating locations on five consecutive Thursday evenings, and all will begin at 6 p.m.

Walks at Hammon Old Growth Woods will be held April 11, April 25 and May 9. Meet at the southern trailhead at 341 Resort Drive in Butler.

Walks at Hemlock Falls will be held April 18 and May 2. Meet at the First Congregational Church camp on Bunkerhill North Road (0.9 miles south of S.R. 95). Come early at 5pm to help remove garlic mustard around native wildflowers along Hemlock Run.

The Clear Fork Valley Scenic Trail winds through 600 acres of nature preserves between Butler and Malabar Farm. These walks are hosted by the North Central Ohio Land Conservancy and Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists of Richland County.
