MANSFIELD — Roby Foster, Miller Earick Insurance has announced that Bart Ingram has earned the CIC designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor. Those who attain their CIC can take pride knowing that is the premier designation program for insurance professionals.
Ingram has worked in the financial planning and insurance industries for over a decade and has been a part of the RFME team for the past five-plus years. He’s a native of Shelby and still calls it home, along with his wife and three children.
Ingram graduated from Ohio State with a degree in family financial management. Later he earned an MBA in finance from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. With his CIC comes an obligation to continuing education which the designee must pass to maintain the designation.
Ingram said what he really gained through the years of study for the CIC was a depth of knowledge that an insurance professional should possess in order to best serve his clients.
However, the true beneficiaries of the CIC designation will always be the clients of the person who attains it. They can feel comfortable and confident in knowing their agent thoroughly understands the details of the policies in which is clients have invested.
