MANSFIELD — Mid-Ohio Opera, Mansfield’s resident professional opera company, is seeking community members to join the Mid-Ohio Opera Chorus.
Weekly rehearsals start Tuesday, June 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic HS Chorus room. Any and all area singers are invited to participate. No experience needed. Music and part recordings will be provided. All ages from high school to retirees are encouraged to come.
Singers will be part of Mid-Ohio Operas four city concert tour of Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera in mid-August. Veteran area chorus conductor and singer, Lori Turner, will be Chorus Master. Pianist Sharon Grimes will accompany rehearsals.
