MANSFIELD — Downtown Mansfield, Inc. and Just Walk Richland are excited to partner together and launch DMI Walks in historic downtown Mansfield.
Each walk will feature a different quadrant of the downtown environment. DMI Walks are a great opportunity for friends and families to gather together, walk, talk and explore new areas of the community. The walks will take place on Saturdays throughout the summer and will be led by Alan Wigton. Each walk will kick off at 10 a.m. in Central Park.
The first of the DMI Walks, in partnership with Just Walk Richland, will be held on Saturday, May 19. This walk will explore the southeast quadrant of downtown Mansfield, including stops at Ritter Run underground entrance, the old Charles Sherman Addition, Ritter Houses and some new and old Mansfield history. This walk is open to anyone.
The following walks will be held:
- June 16, southwest
- Sept. 15, northeast
- Oct. 13, northwest
