Jason Vonerick O’Neal, 37, passed this life on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Ohio Health MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. O’Neal was born on Wednesday, March 25, 1981 in Mansfield and was a life resident. Jason was a member of the Mansfield Senior High School graduating class of 1998. He was employed with at Skybox Packaging for the past 7 ½ years. Jason attended the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church where his family were members. Jason enjoyed cooking, traveling, and shopping which resulted in his love of clothes.
Jason is survived by his grandmother: Odessa O’Neal, of Mansfield; father: James Bonham, of Cincinnati; four brothers: JaMarkus O’Neal, of Mansfield, Jamario O’Neal, of Pine City, California, Maurice Gordon, of Mansfield; two sisters: Ashley Gordon, of Indiana, and Felecia Bonham, of South Carolina; aunts: Easter and Linda O’Neal, of Mansfield; special companion: Uvon Burns and her children Trinity, Taylor, and Octevia, of Mansfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins
Jason was preceded in death by his mother Kasaundra Kay O’Neal, brother James Williams, paternal grandmother Vivian Chester.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m. in the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church by Minister Charles W. Adkins. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the funeral service beginning a 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mansfield Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will also receive friends at the home of Jason’s grandmother at 207 E. Arch St.
