Earnestine Brown, 80, passed this life on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Ohio Health MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
Ms. Brown was born on Tuesday, March 1, 1938 to the late Ernest and Zelma D. (Jones) Brown in Brownsville, Tennessee. Earnestine was the caregiver for her parents until their passing and a member of the Peaceful Chapel Baptist Church in Brownsville. When her health began to fail Earnestine moved to Mansfield to be with family over 20 years ago.
Earnestine is survived by four sisters: Mary Brown, and Opherine (Arnavea Jr.) Feagin with whom she made her home, of Mansfield, Joyce Brown, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Stella Richardson, Cardova, Tennessee; one brother: Arnold “Ernie” Brown, of Mansfield, sisters-in-law Judy Brown, of Brownsville, and Frances Brown, of Mansfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Earnestine was preceded in death by her brother Albert Brown.
Funeral services will be held Friday, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Services with Pastor Aaron Williams, Jr. of the Maddox Memorial Church officiating. Friends may call at the chapel one hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
