David Ray Reed I, 62, of Galion, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital.
David was born February 20, 1955 in Mansfield and was the son of the late Samuel William and Blanche (LeMaster) Reed. David was an avid fisherman, loved spending time with his grandchildren, and was known for his sense of humor.
He was a wonderful father and husband and had a loving and accepting heart for everyone. He never met a stranger. After his retirement, he enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors with his family and friends. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine (Voss) Reed; three children, LeeAnn Enders, of Galion, Melissa (Michael) Trevino, of Ingleside, Texas, and David R. (Amber) Reed II, of Delaware; seven grandchildren, Wyatt Enders, Michael Trevino, Cara Trevino, Grayson Reed, Avery Reed, Maddie Graham, and Gavin Black; four siblings, Judy Fields, Jeff Reed, JoAnn Hunt, and Kathy Meyers.; and several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Bill Reed and Janet Walters.
No services will be held at this time.
