COLUMBUS — The Loudonville girls basketball team is ranked 11th in the Division III poll released Tuesday morning by the Ohio High School Athletics Association.
The Redbirds are 18-0 overall, 9-0 in the Mid-Buckeye Conference after pounding Crestline 97-32 on Saturday.
Coach Tyler Bates’ team is back in action tonight at Cleveland Central Catholic. Loudonville will also host Big Walnut on Saturday.
The Redbirds received 20 points in the latest poll to finish just outside the top 10. Minford (15-2) and Proctorville Fairland (16-2) are tied for 10th with 26 points apiece.
The state polls are determined by a vote among a panel of Ohio sportswriters and broadcasters and distributed by the OHSAA.
