Veronica Burggraf, 73, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018.

She was born Feb. 1, 1944, in Neenah, Wisconsin to the late Henry and Joan (Giese) Scovronski and was their only daughter.

She was an area homemaker her entire life. Veronica was a longtime member of First English Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening-both vegetable and flower, fishing, bowling, crossword puzzles and seek and find puzzles. She was a member of the VFW in Mansfield, Ashland American Legion and Mansfield Sons of Herman.

Veronica is survived by three children, Russell Burggraf, of Mansfield, Patti (Gary) Bourke, of Texas, and Scott (Roxie) Duessing, of Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four brothers, all of Wisconsin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Burggraf in 2012; son, Wesley Burggraf; and four brothers.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the A.S.P.C.A.
