William D. Head, aka “Dougie, Wild Bill, dad, Buddie, Honeysuckle, and Big Sexy”, 45, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018.
William was born on Jan. 20, 1972, in Mansfield, to William C. and Elizabeth G. (Erwin) Head. He graduated from Madison High School.
He loved his family, and always made his wife laugh. He had many interests including motorcycle riding, four-wheeling, camping, going to races, boating, surfing the web for deals, and shooting guns.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tabatha (Crane) Head; two sons, William “Will” M. Head and Steven S. Head; one stepson, Zack Crane; and one grandson, Easton Head.
William is preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Henry and Frances (Neace) Head and Clarence and Helen Erwin; uncle and aunt, Jim and Alene Head; and aunt, Carol Skovranek.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
