Shirley A. Humphreys, 69, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018.
Shirley was born on April 5, 1948, in Mansfield, to Eugene E. and Florence A. (Cline) Pogue. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an active member of Faith Chapel and loved her church. She also enjoyed gospel concerts and reading, especially Karen Kingsbury novels.
She is survived by her husband, George Humphreys; two daughters, Sherry (Bob) Welch, of Shiloh, and Sandra Collins, of Mansfield; two step-children, Candace (Aaron) Harrison, of Ashland, and Michael Humphreys, of Euclid; three grandchildren, Tommy (Megan ) Collins Jr, Kimberly (Justin) Gerich, and Melissa (Kenny) Berkshire; two step-grandchildren, Maddox Cox and Harper Harrison; eight great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Sharon (Bill) Cantlebarry, of Mansfield, Judy Strouse, of Weirton, West Virginia, and Nora (Doug) Maddox, of Goodyear, Arizona.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, LC John “Bud” William Jeffries II, USMC her son-in-law, Tom Collins Sr; and her mother-in-law, Irmil Humphreys.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at Faith Chapel, 674 Hannah Rd, Mansfield, Ohio 44906. Funeral services will follow at noon at the church, with Pastor Bruce Copley and Pastor Perry Brafford officiating. Burial will take place at Mansfield Cemetery.
