Ora M. Brinegar Sr., 86, of Mansfield, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Ora was born on October 10, 1931, in Olive Hill, Ky, to McKinley and Delia (Jones) Brinegar. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Crane plumbing and enjoyed fishing on his pontoon boat, spending time with his family, and eating lunch with Donna at Golden Corral where they would meet up and spend time visiting with their friends. He attended Crossroads Church.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Theiding) Brinegar; children, Cindy (Bill) Harvey, Connie Young, Tina (Mark) Smith, Ora Brinegar, Jr., and Charlie (Connie) Brinegar; step children, Pam (John) Januseski, Greg (Susan) Potts and Stephanie (Potts) Hart; step-son-in-law, Dane Hart; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ora was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Garnett (Clark) Brinegar; infant daughter, Roxanne Brinegar; and siblings, Elwood Brinegar, Pauline Duncan, Elizabeth Culp, Leroy Brinegar, Christine Sparks, and JoAnn Kiser.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Ron Biddle officiating. Burial will take place at Mansfield Cemetery.
