Debra K. Nickell, 61, of Mansfield, passed away early Monday morning, Jan. 8, 2018, at her home.
She was born April 2, 1956, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Marion and Luceal (Floro) Nickell.
Debra worked at Meijer in the clothing department and was the top credit card seller for several months. She attended Four Square Gospel Church. Always happy and smiling, she genuinely enjoyed life. She enjoyed listening to the band, Journey, and crocheting and knitting many items. Debra was an avid OSU Buckeye fan.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Daugherty; two sons, Steven (Amanda) Jones, of Ashland, and Burt (Rachel) Nickell, of Bono, Arizona; a step-daughter, Leslie (Robin) Walker, of Mansfield; mother, Luceal Nickell; two sisters, Lynn (Les) Bucknor, of Columbus, Ohio, and Cindy (Bill) Hollingsworth, of Richmond, Indiana; two brothers, Steve Nickell, of Columbus, and Mark (Denny) Nickell, of Erie, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren, Lincoln, Piper, Alexandria, Zachary, Stormy, Kimberly, David, Elizabeth, Ronnie, and Gabriel; two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Qualyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Marion Nickell.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor James Streib will begin at 2:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park.
