Merl A. (Tiller) Jarvis, 67, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018.

Merl was born on Jan. 9, 1950, in Baileys, West Virginia, to James and Armilda (Leaster) Tiller. She Married Charles Jarvis and they co-owned Merl’s Pizza Shop for a number of years. She loved her grandchildren, and enjoyed taking them out to eat and spending time with them.

She also enjoyed baking and traveling.

She is survived by three daughters, Nola (Elmer) Ash, of Mansfield, Christine (Junebug) Brock, of Bucyrus, and Regina (Scott) Snyder, of Vincent; one step-son, Bobby Jarvis, of West Virginia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren including special great-grandson, Brandon; seven siblings, Mary Jane, Dora Cline, Wanda, Rosa Lee Fields, Donny Ray Tiller, Jimmy Tiller, and John Tiller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Merl was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Jarvis; her son, Randall Lee Jarvis; and her brother, Tommy Tiller.

Calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Springmill Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.wernergompf.com.
