BUCYRUS — Three men and a pregnant woman were taken into custody on Thursday afternoon in Bucyrus after multiple law enforcement agencies served a search warrant at 409 W Mansfield St. in Bucyrus.

According to a Bucyrus Police report, the woman was taken to Bucyrus Hospital because of her medical condition. Officers recovered suspected heroin and drug abuse instruments. Charges are pending.

At 3:38 p.m. officers of the Bucyrus PD with METRICH, Crawford County SRT (Special Response Team) comprised of officers of Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Galion Police Department and Bucyrus Police Departments served a warrant with the focus of the investigation on drug trafficking, drug possession and permitting drug abuse.

Authorities say there were recent reports of subjects overdosing at this location and at other locations, including Galion.

Thursday, Sept. 21

7:19 a.m. A false alarm was received in the 1500 block of Oakridge Dr.

7:38 a.m. Officers gave a warning for expired registration in the 300 block of S. Sandusky.

10:06 a.m. An overtime parking complaint in the 700 block of Rogers St. was investigated.

11:03 a.m. Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies in the 200 block of Norton Way near Job and Family Services with a man who fled on foot after Deputies attempted to arrest him on a Marion County warrant. After a brief search of the area, near Kroger and north to Harmon Park, Kyle Love, 23, Marion, was located by Bucyrus Officers in the old Water Plant on Water St. Love while trespassing in the water plant and fleeing the officers had removed his pants and had to be rescued from an open area to prevent him from falling. Love was arrested by Bucyrus Police without injury and transported to the Sheriff’s Office for Marion County. Love will be facing several local charges.

11:14 a.m. Deputy from Huron County requested assistance regarding a warrant for a subject in Bucyrus.

12:31 p.m. Officers investigated a report of vandalism to a vehicle in the East Pointe Shopping Plaza.

2:35 p.m. A report was taken of hand tools and two lawn mowers missing from a garage in the 400 block of Failor St.

3:05 p.m. A report of a dog running loose in the 300 block of W. Beal Av. was investigated.

3:15 p.m. Officers spoke to a person on station about a prior incident.

3:24 p.m. A report of a dog inside a hot car was reported in the 100 block of Stetzer Rd.

3:46 p.m. A report of a suspicious pedestrian was investigated in the 500 block of W. Warren St.

4:32 p.m. Officers assisted Life Support in the 1100 block of Victoria Dr.

4:34 p.m. A report of a possible domestic was made in the 300 block of E. Mansfield St.

4:41 p.m. A vandalism of a basketball backboard was reported in the 2100 block of Stetzer Rd.

4:45 p.m. Officers investigated in the 1000 block of Lavina Ave. a 31 year old Bucyrus man who apparently overdosed. He was treated and released at the Bucyrus Community Hospital.

4:57 p.m. A maroon X-Bike was reported stolen in the 200 block of N. Poplar St.

5 p.m. A disturbance in the 500 block of E. Mansfield St. was a verbal domestic dispute.

5:45 p.m. A report of vehicle revving engines was reported in the area of Reid and Highland and the subject repairing his car advised he would stop revving the engine.

6:05 p.m. A request was made for a civil standby.

6:33 p.m. A 911 hang up call was investigated in the 900 block of Elm St.

7:18 p.m. K9 Officer was requested to assist Crawford County Sheriff Office in the area of Harper Rd and SR 19.

7:22 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 200 block of Inez St.

7:58 p.m. Officers served two Property Maintenance summons in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St. to the owner of the property at 409 W. Mansfield St.

8:19 p.m. Andrew Kalb, 34, was arrested in the 400 block of N. Walnut St. on two Crawford County warrants. He was issued a court date to appear and released.

8:20 p.m. A report of possible drug use was investigated.

8:23 p.m. Kenneth Meade, 61, was arrested in the 100 block of E. Mansfield St on a Crawford County warrant. He was taken to Crawford County Justice center to be held for court.

8:34 p.m. A traffic complaint of a reckless driver was investigated in the 1300 block of Woodlawn Av.

8:55 p.m. A traffic complaint of a vehicle failing to yield emerging from a parking lot was investigated on E. Mansfield St.

9 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the 300 block of N. Sandusky Av.

9:16 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the 500 block of N. Sandusky Av.

10:28 p.m. A motorist was given a warning for one way street violation in the Washington Square area.

10:44 p.m. Officers assisted Life Support Team in the 900 block of Elm St.

Friday, Sept. 22

3:02 a.m. Officer checked on an unattended vehicle parked with a door open.

5:28 a.m. Officers checked the welfare of a man in the W. Southern Ave, Wyandot Rd area. No one was in the area when officers checked.

6:43 a.m. Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the Marion Rd, Beal Ave. area.
