GALION — Fans of the Japanese card game Pokemon are invited to compete in The Citadel RPG and Gaming’s Burning Shadows League Cup on Sunday, Oct. 8.
The game’s formats will be standard, best of 1 Swiss with best of 3 Top Cut.
Diana Nolen, owner of Citadel RPG and Gaming (343 Harding Way East Galion, Ohio) said the last League Cup tournament hosted 36 people from around the midwest. They have moved the tournament to the Pavilion at 127 N. Washington St in Galion and have increased the cap to 70 players.
Tickets for Juniors and Seniors levels are $15; Masters competitors will be $20. Preregistration is available in the store or via PayPal.
“It would be our biggest Pokemon event to date,” Nolen said. “We’re excited to have (the game) back in our area.”
