SHELBY — The Johnny Appleseed Baseball Club is hosting additional tryouts for its 8-and-under team on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. at Siegfried Field (15 E. Smiley Ave. in Shelby – right next to Glens Surplus).
The player must be 7 or 8 and cannot turn 9 before May 1, 2018. This is a Coach-Pitch team that will also play a few kid pitch tourneys at end of the year, playing around 30 games total. The team will also have two weekly time slots at new indoor baseball facility in Ontario for practices throughout the winter.
