Pilar Lemaster, 55, of Mansfield, passed away Friday morning, June 23, 2017, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
She was born Dec.,= 22, 1961, in Cajamarca, Peru, to Felix Rafael Valdivieso Rosado and Maria Luisa Riboty Saenz.
Loving, caring, full of joy and energetic, Pilar loved meeting new people. She was excellent in her work as a Para Professional at Brinkerhoff School and had previously worked as an Import/Export Manager with Barrick Gold Mine in Peru.
She enjoyed singing and traveling and her laugh lit up her entire face. Pilar met the love of her life, Mike Lemaster, in 2001 and their friendship blossomed over many long-distance visits. They married in February 2009 and enjoyed eight fantastic years together.
In addition to her loving husband, Mike, she is survived by two daughters, Andrea del Pilar Cabrera Valdivieso (Christian Blake Quintana Tineo) and Maria Pia Cabrera Valdivieso; her mother, Maria Riboty; three brothers and three sisters, all of Peru; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Felix Valdivieso.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 3 p.m. in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
