Joy A. Carsey, 50, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in her residence after an extended illness.
Ms.Carsey was born on Tuesday, July 19, 1966 to Emmett and Mildred (Schaefer) Carseyin Mansfield and had been a lifetime resident of the community. She was a former employee of McDonalds Restaurantand enjoyed working in the workshop of James, her Special Companion whom she made her home with, doing creative pieces of arts and crafts. Joy also enjoyed flower gardening and living her life.
Joy is survived by her daughter Alisha (Jeremy) Prince, Galion; 2 sons Cheyenne Emmett Carsey, Mansfield and Eric Carsey, Galion: 7 Grandchildren; Special Companion James Baker, Mansfield: a sister Cathy (Chester) Stallings, Mansfield; 2 brothers: Mark and Steve Carsey both of Mansfield; 2 special friends Lisa and Leah Daugherty, both of Mansfield.
In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in death by two brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
The family has selected Williams Funeral Services.
