It’s not difficult to locate this site today: there is a big 99 on the building to identify it on the street for the various offices inside. For a number of generations it was known as the Tucker building.
Originally it was constructed as the Grafton Lincoln-Mercury dealership in the late 1940s. In 1966 the building was remodeled as a showcase for Tucker Furniture.
The next major revision of this address happened in the 1980s when the Tucker building was repurposed for two years as the site of the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library while the old Carnegie Library building on Third Street was undergoing its massive reconstruction.
Today the building has a new and stylish face once again to keep Park Avenue West thriving and vital.
