Barbara M. Tridico, 87, of Oxford, Michigan and a life-long resident of Galion passed away May 27 in Oxford, Michigan.
Born Feb. 15, 1930 in Jackson, California, she was the daughter of the late, Archie Wilson and Roma (Sipes) Engelhorn.
She worked as a realtor and broker in Galion for 40 years for the former Kumm Realty, Fred Barr Realty and lastly HER Realty. She was a member of the local and state Board of Realtors and the Women of the Moose in Galion.
Barb was very devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting and school events.
She is survived by her daughter Lyn (Bob) Klages, of Oxford, Michigan; grandchildren, Dustin (Courtney) Peugeot, of Highland Heights, Ohio, and Kristin (Craig) Myers, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Debra Klages, of Bountifiul, Utah, and Krag Klages, of Pasadena California; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Sydney, Taylor, Lauren, Kendall and Stella; daughter-in-law, Judy Tridico of Vidalia, Georgia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jackie S. Tridico: a brother, Jack Wilson and stepfather, John Engelhorn.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to a memorial service from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 with the service to be held at 2 p.m. June 6. Burial will be private in Iberia Cemetery.
It was Barb’s wish that no flowers be sent. Instead she would like memorial contributions to be made to Relay for Life Count Your Blessings team, of which Lyn is a member or Heart to Heart Hospice of Flint, Michigan.
