CRESTLINE — Living History Days will be held on June 3 and 4 at Lowe-Volk Park.

There will be many Revolutionary War period demonstrators and new vendors along with military and Native American camps. Other highlights of the weekend include a presentation by Shequonur, a Shawnee Storyteller, and a children’s nature walk.

There will be two opportunities to participate in a bus tour to the Colonel Crawford Burn Site Memorial in Wyandot County. Beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday evening, there will be woodland lantern tours which will focus on Native American life.

Living History 2

Living History Days will open at 9 a.m. on June 3 with a Scout lead flag raising and a singing of the National Anthem.

Saturday, June 3

9 a.m. — Opening Ceremony: Flag Raising by Local Scouts; Star Spangled Banner

10 a.m. — Shequonur, Traditional Shawnee Storyteller (Nature Center)

11 a.m. — Reenactment: Capture of Colonel Crawford

Following Reenactment: Historical Bus Tour to Colonel Crawford Burn Site

1 p.m. — Lou Tommelleo: Simon Girty (Nature Center)

2 p.m. — Children’s Plant and Nature Walk (Meet near flagpole)

3 p.m. — Reenactment: Capture of Colonel Crawford

8  to 10 p.m. — Lantern Tour: Native American Life (Meet at beginning of woodland boardwalk)
