BUCYRUS — Following were the Bucyrus police calls for Thursday, May 25.
7:01 a.m. A report of what sounded like gunshots in the area of Willard St was investigated. Officers questioned residents in the area, no one reported hearing anything.
7:30 a.m. Multiple vehicles in the 500 block of S. Poplar St were reported as being broken into overnight.
8:12 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 1700 block of S. Sandusky Ave.
8:21 a.m. A private property accident report was taken in the 900 block W. Perry St.
8:47 a.m. A Wiley St. resident reported her vehicle damaged on Marion Rd.
9:20 a.m. Officers met with a subject on station to discuss possible identity fraud.
11:20 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 100 block of Gaius St.
11:35 a.m. A subject came on station to discuss child custody issues.
2:45 p.m. A parking complaint in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.
2:58 p.m. A disturbance between neighbors in the 300 block of S. Spring Street was investigated.
3:23 p.m. Officers assisted a resident in the 900 block of Prospect Street experiencing mental issues.
3:32 p.m. A resident in the 300 block of W. Southern Avenue reported a laptop, camera and cash stolen from her residence while she was working in her yard.
4:08 p.m. A report of a shotgun shell in the parking lot in the 200 block of N. Walnut Street was investigated.
4:47 p.m. A domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.
5:30 p.m. A motorist reported a purse and money bag stolen from her vehicle while parked in the 200 block of W. Mary Street.
7:05 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Sherman and Irving Street was investigated.
7:27 p.m. Officers attempted to check the welfare of a resident in the 800 block of Wingert Street.
9:11 p.m. A report of a vehicle with loud music doing donuts in the soccer field parking lot on N. Lane Street was investigated. The driver was issued a verbal warning and left the area.
9:32 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 500 block of N. Sandusky Avenue.
9:40 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Marion Road and Sunset Drive.
9:43 p.m. A disturbance in the 200 block of W. Mary Street was investigated.
11:06 p.m. A report of a burglary in the Bucyrus Plaza area was investigated.
