BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Police Department handled the following calls on Tuesday, May 16.
6:45 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a vehicle trespass and larceny of $25 in the 500 block of Howard Ave.
7:33 a.m. A false alarm was received at the Old 30 BBQ.
7:49 a.m. Officers assisted Life Support Team in the 900 block of E. Warren St.
9:43 a.m. A report of a theft at Walmart was investigated.
10:05 a.m. A resident reported a vehicle break-in in the 200 block of Songer St.
10:21 a.m. Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 300 block of N. Sandusky.
11:00 a.m. A report of stolen cash from a resident on Wedgewood Ct. was investigated.
11:16 a.m. A resident in the 300 block of Blicke Street reported a watch stolen from her vehicle.
11:43 a.m. A resident at Bucyrus Plaza reported being assaulted. Officers are investigating.
2:03 p.m. Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 600 block of W. Beal Avenue.
2:57 p.m. Tiffany Stoneburner, 32, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.
3:05 p.m. Warnings were issued to two solicitors without permits in the 300 block of E. Rensselaer Street.
3:21 p.m. An employee of City Hall reported a bad check written to the City.
3:23 p.m. A resident in the 500 block of S. Poplar Street reported a dog shot by a BB sometime last night.
3:54 p.m. A two vehicle non-injury crash in the area of Charles and Walnut Street was investigated. A citation was issued for failure to yield and one of the vehicles was disabled and towed.
4:51 p.m. A report of dogs left without food or water was investigated in the 400 block of N. Walnut Street. The dogs were fine and had access to water.
4:59 p.m. A report of mini bikes on the roadway in the area of Emerson and Dunn Avenue was investigated.
5:23 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Sunoco.
5:39 p.m. A false alarm in the 900 block of Victoria Drive was caused by human error.
6:17 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Sunoco.
7:20 p.m. A mother came to the Police Department to speak to an officer about inappropriate messages to her child.
7:30 p.m. Officers checked the 900 block of Faustina Avenue regarding a hang up 9-1-1 call. No one was located in the area needing assistance.
7:43 p.m. Officers retrieved and disposed of a syringe found in an alleyway behind the 400 block of W. Warren Street.
7:53 p.m. A resident at Pinewood Apartments reported being followed and harassed by someone she knows.
8:24 p.m. A disturbance in the 1000 block of Woodlawn Avenue was a verbal dispute.
8:41 p.m. A 9-1-1 hang up call from the 900 block of Prospect Street was investigated.
9:01 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 1100 block of High Street.
9:33 p.m. A disturbance in the area of Spring and Mansfield Street was investigated.
9:36 p.m. A report of three subjects on bikes trying to get into vehicles in the area of Warren and Poplar Street was investigated.
11:30 p.m. A report of a female breaking a car window in the S. East St. area was investigated. The subjects had left the area prior to officers’ arrival. Ayla Sturgill, 21, was arrested on a warrant out of Mansfield Police Dept. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for pick up.
11:34 p.m. Officers investigated a hang up 9-1-1 call in the 900 block of Prospect St.
Wednesday, May 17
12:32 a.m. A report of people slamming doors in the 800 block of Elm St. was a verbal domestic dispute.
2:22 a.m. A resident in the 1000 block of E. Beal Ave. reported someone knocking. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.
4:53 a.m. A resident in the 800 block of Beverly Dr. reported noises. Officers checked the area and found everything to be all right.
6:29 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm at the Bucyrus Elementary School and it was a false alarm by human error.
