MADISON TOWNSHIP — Trenna Paxton, senior Interactive Media student at Madison Comprehensive High School, will participate in the National Leadership Conference of Business Professionals of America at Walt Disney Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida, May 10 to 14.

Trenna received 5th-place at state competition in Fundamental Desktop Publishing in March, which qualified her for the second time for nationals. She has been active on the local, regional and state level since the 2015-2016 school year.

The National Leadership Conference is a culmination of the hard work and effort put in by members throughout the year. It brings students from across the country together to participate, network and compete. Activities included general sessions with keynote speakers, business meetings, leadership workshops, contests, election of national officers, and tours of Orlando sights and attractions.

In addition, Trenna will be participating in a Business Learning Series presented by CNBC at Universal Studios.

The highlights of the conference included the BPA Day of Service and the Winged Walk for Special Olympics. Considering there will be approximately 5,500 students, advisors and guests from across the United States participating in BPA’s National Leadership Conference.
