MANSFIELD — Crossroads Community Church is bringing one of the nation’s most popular Christian entertainers to Mansfield this November.

Comedian and singer Tim Hawkins will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at the church, 1188 Park Avenue West, with fellow comedian, John Branyon as the opening act.

Lori Biddle, director of Crossroads’ creative arts, believes the show will sell out quickly.

“Last time I saw (Hawkins), I laughed so hard my stomach hurt for two days,” she said. “It’s going to be a hilarious night.”

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Hawkins’ biography says he’s known for his “on-the-nose observations that expose the ridiculousness of daily life while marveling in its hilarity.”

He keeps the audience laughing with humorous remarks about life and more specifically about growing up in the Midwest. And he sings, too. His hits include the “Chick-fil-A Song” and parodies like “Cletus Take The Reel” and “Pretty Pink Tractor.”

Biddle has been trying to bring Hawkins to Mansfield for years and even added the church to a waiting list.

“They contacted me a couple weeks ago,” she said. “They sent out an email, and they said I was the first to respond.”

General admission costs $25 in advance or $23 for groups of 10 or more. If there are tickets remaining, they will be sold for $30 at the door. Premium admission, which guarantees preferred seating, costs $39 in advance, $37 for groups or $45 at the door. Only 300 premium tickets are available.

Fifty “Über fan packages” are also available for $75. This includes a reserved seat in the three front rows, a meet-and-greet with Hawkins, a $10 voucher for merchandise, and a limited edition concert laminate.

Tickets will not be sold at the church. Instead they are sold exclusively online at timhawkins.brushfireapp.com/events/437346
