Carol F. Fenton, 80, of Loudonville passed away on April 6, 2017, in Colonel Manor Health Care Center in Loudonville after declining health.
She was born July 26, 1936 in Mentor and was the daughter of Francis and Eleanor (Ingersol) Wagar. Carol was a Mentor High School graduate and member of Trinity Community Church, in Loudonville. She and her husband lived in many places around the country including Yorbo Linda, California, both Madison and Mentor, Ohio, Jacksonville, Alabama, and Lady Lakes, Florida.
They have been residents of Loudonville for the past 10 years.
Carol is survived by her husband, David Fenton, whom she married May 11, 1957; four sons: Bob (Polly) Fenton, of Loudonville, Mark (Heather) Fenton, of Henderson, Nevada, Rick (Brenda) Fenton, of Oldsmar, Florida, and Bryan (Kathy) Fenton, of Huntersville, North Carolina; one daughter: Karen (Matt) Gehrsitz, of Canton, Georgia; seven grandchildren; Ryley, Tyler, Kyle, Courtney, Rachel, Zach, and Nikoli; seven great-grandchildren: Dylan, Olyvia, Brayden, Kaylee, Aubrey, Savannah, and Liam; and one sister: Conny (Dan) Snyder, of Mentor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; David and Mars Wagar; and one sister, Gretchen Wagner.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Community Church on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Temple officiating. A time of lunch and fellowship will follow the service. Private burial will take place in Pioneer Cemetery, Loudonville.
