GALION — For sometime, Crawford County had no place to get technological repairs.

That is no longer an issue. Layland Electronics held its ribbon cutting, Monday, April 3. The store specializes in television, smart phone, computers and laptop repair as well as data recovery.

The 130 Harding Way business is owned and run by Todd Layland a 23-year computer expert.

He has worked as an IT manager and he has built computers.

“I’ve done everything,” he said.

The store’s need is important to Crawford County, he continued.

“There’s nothing in this area. If i wants to get something fixed — a smart phone a laptop, I have to leave Crawford County,” He said. “You have to go to Richland (County) or send it off to get repaired.”

While Layland said he welcomes walk-ins to his store, he also expects to do business with warranty companies.

“It could be computers, tablets. If you go out and get a T.V. and get buy an extended warranty,” he said. “Odds are I’ll get it. Either I’m coming into that customer’s home or they have to come in to me.”

Depending on the case of the repair, Layland said he can get a repair done quickly.

“Anything I do, I guarantee my work and i guarantee the parts as well.”
