Ontario 5th graders create nonfiction magazine

ONTARIO — Students in Mrs. Shelby Wynn’s fifth grade class have been learning about different types of text structure in reading.

Afterwards, they chose a topic and created a nonfiction magazine using all five different types of text structure for a writing assignment.

This magazine also included great visuals, sidebars, a glossary, and a quiz. Students then shared their magazines with the class.
