Arthur G. Stuenzi, 81, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman, Ohio.
Born May 17, 1935 in Syracuse, New York, he was the son of Rudolph Walter and Marie (Trefz) Stuenzi.
He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church and retired from G.A. Braun Company following 30 years of service. Arthur and his wife, Lore, moved to the Mansfield area in 1999 from Syracuse, New York.
He is survived by his wife, Lore (Haaf) Stuenzi; a son, Samuel (Paula) Stuenzi of Syracuse, New York; a daughter, Wendy (Tim) Gerber of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Scott (Laura) Gerber of Galion and Rachel (Abe) Rufener of Rittman, Ohio; four great grandchildren, Evelyn, Audrey and Mary Gerber and Milan Rufener; two brothers, Ben (Mary Lou) Stuenzi of Edmonds, Washington and Teo (Jean) Stuenzi of North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Richard Harfmann of Syracuse, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Eric Stuenzi; a brother, Walter Stuenzi; and a sister, Mary Harfmann.
The family would like to thank the Apostolic Christian Home and LifeCare Hospice for their loving care that they provided for Arthur.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a..m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 South Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario conducted by the ministers of the Apostolic Christian Faith.
Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Road, Rittman, Ohio 44270.
