Thomas “Tom” M. Ehlenbach, 59, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at his home.

Thomas was born on Jan. 18, 1958 in St. Petersburg, Florida, to the late Charles “Jake” and Garnet (Barker) Ehlenbach.

Tom retired from Anchor Motor Freight where he had worked as a mechanic for many years. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army. Tom was a genuine guy, always generous and thoughtful to others. He was an avid hunter and motorcycle enthusiast. Tom was a member of the Salineville Masonic Lodge #348, the VFW post 6345 in Mercer, Pennsylvania, and the American Legion post 442 in Salineville.

Tom is survived by his best friend, lifetime love and fiancé, Marianne Lee Nommay; Marianne’s sons that he treated like his own, Gary (Amanda) Imhoff and Dustin (Sherri) Imhoff; eight grandchildren; a sister, Cecilia “Sue” (Jerry) Vona, of Canfield; a brother, Nick Ehlenbach, of Monument, Colorado; a former sister-in-law and good friend, Sharon Ehlenbach, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and five nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Brady Ehlenbach.

A celebration of Tom’s life will occur at a later date. The Wappner Cremation Center is privileged to serve the family.
