BUCYRUS — Listed below are the Bucyrus Police calls from over the weekend.

Friday, Feb. 24

9:49 a.m. A 911 hang up call in the 1700 block of Marion Rd was unfounded.

9:58 a.m. Officers took a private property collision report of a Chevrolet striking a light pole in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

10:49 a.m. A vehicle was checked for 48-hour parking violation in the 1500 block of Edgewood Dr.

10:51 a.m. Officers made a funeral escort for Wise Funeral Home.

12:39 p.m. Officers transported Joshua Protzman, 24 to the Crawford County Justice Center on a probation holder out of Marion County.

1:36 p.m. Officers investigated a drug issue at the Bucyrus Secondary School.

1:45 p.m. A S. Walnut St. resident reported his bicycle stolen from in front of the Moose Lodge.

2:09 p.m. Officers assisted Life Support in the 800 block of Kaler Ave.

2:20 p.m. An open line 911 was investigated at Aumiller Park.

2:30 p.m. Officers checked the area of Mansfield and Whetstone St. for a stolen bike. The bike was not located.

2:55 p.m. A report of solicitors without permits in the 1100 block of Robinhood Drive was investigated.

2:59 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Circle K.

3:36 p.m. A report of loud music in the 1600 block of Marion Road was resolved with a warning.

3:49 p.m. A rear license plate GVM6811 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street.

4:06 p.m. A resident in the 700 block of Ann Street reported receiving threats from someone she knows.

5:16 p.m. A report of loud music in the 500 block of S. Spring Street was investigated.

5:17 p.m. A resident in the 900 block of Elm Street reported receiving harassing messages from someone she knows.

6:06 p.m. A call about a suspicious person stumbling around in the area of S. Walnut and Charles Street was investigated.

6:08 p.m. A report of two trucks speeding in Aumiller Park was investigated.

6:19 p.m. A two-vehicle crash in the area of Charles and Poplar Street was investigated and one vehicle was disabled and towed from the scene.

6:27 p.m. A private property hit-skip crash at Aumiller Park was investigated.

7:11 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic violence report in the 1000 block of High St. Jamie Windsor, 29, and Danny Loftis Jr., 39, were both arrested on charges of Domestic Violence. They were taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:31 p.m. A resident at Woodbine Apartments reported a possible theft, however all missing items were located at the apartment while officers were there.

10:33 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Osman and Rogers Street was checked and a subject was stopped to use a phone.

11:07 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Tim Horton’s.

11:58 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of S. Sandusky Ave. and Brandy Dye, 31, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.

1:08 a.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Plymouth St. and Maple St.

1:26 a.m. Officers assisted a Crawford County Deputy on a traffic stop on state route 4.

2:05 a.m. Officers investigated 4 open line 9-1-1 calls in the 100 block of W. Oakwood Ave. and found it was a toddler playing with a phone.

2:16 a.m. A male was cited for driving under suspension in the area of Whetstone St. and Reid St.

3:03 a.m. Officers assisted the State Patrol on a traffic stop in the area of State route 4.

3:43 a.m. Lacey Cooper, 21, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol in the 100 block of E. Irving St.

4:06 a.m. A report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Wingert St. was investigated.

5:55 a.m. A parking citation was issued in the 800 block of S. Spring St.

9:20 a.m. A report of a reckless driver on N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

9:23 a.m. Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 1000 block of E. Warren St.

10:20 a.m. Officers assisted with an escort for the Bucyrus High School X Band.

11:27 a.m. Officers assisted Wise Funeral Home with an escort.

12:36 p.m. A gray Schwinn bike was found abandoned in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St.

2:10 p.m. A report of items stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. was taken. The theft happened sometime a few weeks ago.

4:26 p.m. Officers assisted Crawford County deputies in the area of 98 north of town after a train conductor reported a cow loose around the train tracks in the area. No cows were located.

4:28 p.m. Officers checked the area of S. Highland and Mansfield after receiving a complaint about a railcar that was unhooked from a train. The railroad was actually in the area working on a couple train cars when officers arrived in the area.

4:32 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

4:35 p.m. A call about a raccoon in parking lot 2 sleeping under a patron’s vehicle was checked. The raccoon appeared healthy and was left alone in the area.

5:16 p.m. A report about suspicious vehicles in the 900 block of S. Highland Avenue was unfounded.

5:25 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of E. Mansfield and Fisher Street.

5:33 p.m. A report of an erratic driver in the area of Sandusky and Beal Avenue was investigated.

6:16pm A report of a possible sex crime was investigated and referred to children services.

7:10 p.m. A report of a young child unsupervised at Holiday Inn Express was investigated. The child was reunited with a parent.

8:11 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Mary Street and Broadway Alley.

9:53 p.m. A domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Emerson Street was mediated.

10:39 p.m. A false alarm in the 1000 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated.

11:03 p.m. A report of a suspicious person banging on a door in the 900 block of Elm Street was investigated. It turned out to be a pizza delivery driver at the wrong house.

11:07 p.m. A report of a possible intoxicated driver in the area of Mansfield and Sandusky Avenue was checked and the driver was found to be fatigued not intoxicated.

11:28 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the 200 block of S. Sandusky Avenue.

11:52 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Poplar and Mary Street.

2:31 a.m. A Bucyrus man was arrested for OVI in City Lot 3.

2:48 a.m. A motorist was given a warning for vehicle registration in the Lucas and Walnut St. area.

4:20 a.m. A disturbance was investigated in the 900 block of Hopley Ave.

8:32 a.m. A false alarm was received from the 1300 block of E. Beal Ave.

11:06 a.m. Officers investigated a private property collision on the parking lot at Hardee’s.

12:04 p.m. A report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Sunset Dr. was investigated.

1:12 p.m. Melissa Wiparina, 35, Bucyrus, was given a court appearance date on a warrant out of Crawford County.

2:18 p.m. Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire Department in the 800 block of Whetstone St.

3:24 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 200 block of Plymouth St.

3:40 p.m. Officers assisted with an unruly juvenile in the 300 block of W. Warren St.

3:49 p.m. A message was delivered for Morrow County Sheriff’s Department.

4:11 p.m. Officers spoke to a S. Walnut St. resident about a property issue.

4:57 p.m. A security check was made in the 800 block of Beverly Drive.

5:10 p.m. A report of loud music in the 500 block of E. Rensselaer Street was investigated. There was no music playing when officers arrived in the area.

5:23 p.m. Two income tax summons were served in the 400 block of E. Mansfield Street.

6:16 p.m. A resident in the 900 block of Rogers Street reported unwelcome messages.

6:23 p.m. Two income tax summons were served at the Police Department.

7:03 p.m. Three income tax summons were served at the Police Department.

8:01 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Walnut and Mansfield Street.

8:05 p.m. An audible alarm from the Historical Society was investigated and was a false alarm by unknown cause.

8:11 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a resident on E. Warren Street for Community Counseling.

8:19 p.m. Officers assisted a subject on S. Sandusky Ave. experiencing mental issues.

8:27 p.m. A warning for loud music was issued in the 100 block of Wallace Avenue.

8:33 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Marion and Pinewood Court.

8:41 p.m. A traffic warning was issued on Schaber Avenue.

10:16 p.m. A Mt. Gilead resident reported her wallet stolen while at a residence on Rogers Street last night.
