MANSFIELD — Richland Academy has announced its annual Cabaret Show and Auction Scholarship Fundraiser.

The institution is hosting “A Night at The Academy,” on Saturday, March 11, 2017, beginning at 5:30 p.m., to benefit the scholarship program which awards $25,000 annually to provide quality arts education opportunities to students.

The evening will include a dinner catered by The Vault Wine Bar, an open bar, and will feature a silent auction while also spotlighting a few live auction items. The funds provided by this event will continue to be used to afford students the opportunity to be enriched in the arts regardless of their financial limitations.

What impact will funds raised from this event have? $250 will allow a student to participate in visual arts classes for one year, $600 will allow a student to participate in a 30-minute private music lesson once a week for one year, and $1,000 will allow a student to participate in 2.5 hours of dance class each week for one year.
