MANSFIELD — The “America in Bloom” presentation for “Planting Pride in the Richland County Communities” takes place on Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Kingwood Center Garden’s Carriage House beginning at 9 a.m.
The program is presented by the Richland County Development Group’s Beautification Sector. An America In Bloom representative will be at the Kingwood Center Gardens Carriage House in Mansfield.
William Hahn along with Doug Versaw will begin the presentation at 9 a.m. The public is invited to come and learn more about this exciting program and how it can benefit our communities.
“America in Bloom” envisions communities across the country as welcoming and vibrant places to live, work and play – benefiting from colorful plants and trees; enjoying clean environments; celebrating heritage; and planting pride through volunteerism. Their Mission is to promote beautification through education and community involvement by encouraging the use of flowers, plants, trees and other environmental and lifestyle enhancements.

The RCDG Beautification Sectors want to take beautification to the next level in the future and are asking the local citizenry to expand its volunteer efforts now and in the coming years.
