Brenda Gail Perry, 72, of Mansfield, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017.
Brenda was born April 17, 1944 in Grahn, Kentucky, and served the Lord for most of her life.
On June 15, 1959, she married the love of her life, Louie M. Perry of Mansfield, Ohio, who survives. They shared 57 years together and had one daughter, Ramona G. Perry, of Mansfield; two granddaughters, Camellia (Burley) Stapley, of Findlay, and Tenille (Ron) Graf, of Shelby; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Stapley and Owen Stapley, of Findlay, Adriana Hamm and Mariah Hamm, of Shelby.
Brenda has many siblings also whom she loved dearly; Mary “Mousie” Smith, Geneva (Dick) Rowlance, Charlene Bryant, Emma (Larry) Burke, Ella “Louise” Tackett, Doug (Linda) Tackett, and Earl (Jeanie) Tackett.
She was met at the gates of heaven by her parents, Clifford and Charlotte Tackett, of Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Brenda was a loving, giving, and humble woman who loved to laugh and have fun. Her family was her pride and joy. She looked forward to Sundays when everyone would come together for dinner at her home.
She also enjoyed going out to dinner and shopping and hearing some good Blue-Grass Gospel music. She loved garage sales and thrift stores. She was always looking for things to collect and work on and she liked having projects to do around the house.
Brenda was loved by so many. She will be missed beyond words.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2017 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, Mansfield, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Doug Tackett officiating. Burial will be in Springmill Cemetery.
